Join artists Paul Richmond and Briden Schueren for a transformative journey through the art of figure drawing in our monthly workshop, Redrawing Masculinity. This course invites you to explore and challenge traditional notions of masculinity through the intimate and revealing process of live figure drawing on Zoom.
June 2025 Pride Workshop
For our June session, we’re embracing Pride Month with a special class celebrating trans identity and visibility! This session will take place on Wednesday, June 18 from 4:30-6:30 PM PST, a departure from our usual schedule. We’re offering a hybrid format, meaning you can join us in person in Seaside, CA or virtually on Zoom - simply select your preferred option when registering. Space for the in-person class is limited, so be sure to secure your spot early! Our special guest model, Scout Luketech, will be posing alongside Briden, and Paul will be helping facilitate. If you’re attending in person, please bring your own drawing supplies. We’ll gather at Upside Down Abundance Studio located at 1760 Fremont Blvd, Unit AU3, Seaside, CA - above the 7-11, with stairs located at the back. We can't wait to celebrate creativity and Pride together!

Workshop Highlights:

Live Models: Engage with live models in a safe, inclusive environment. (Note: Models will be nude; participants must be 18+)

Teaching Dynamics: Paul and Briden will alternate roles between instructor and model, providing unique perspectives and insights.

Technique & Practice: Start with quick gesture sketches and progress to more extended poses, enhancing your figure drawing abilities.

Interactive Discussions: Engage in conversations about masculinity, gender constructs, and various monthly topics voted on by you.
