About This Video
Let's make a zine with Anne Ylvisaker and Mr. Paul! This 13 minute video will introduce the basic principles of writing a poem and creating a small, hand-made book out of a single piece of paper. We will start by visiting with author Anne Ylvisaker and hearing some of her wonderful poems. Then we will make our own! We will begin by brainstorming ideas for our story and then we will write it out. Next we will learn how to fold a single piece of paper into a small book, or zine. Lastly we will fill the pages of our new zine with words and illustrations so we can share our poems with the world!
