Building Creative Confidence Through Mark Making - May 2025
Words we use often might be draw, doodle, sketch, scribble. This class is an invitation to soften your expectations, and practice meeting your Creative Self with patience and curiosity. Bernadette will use techniques from mindfulness meditation to explore our senses and inner conversation as we make marks. We will learn that each mark can be a valuable layer to our creative practice. These techniques will encourage us to keep art making accessible, give our Creative Self permission to make mistakes and get messy, and is an easy warm up for tackling bigger projects. This class focuses on process and complements all creative practices.
