Find your voice as a painter!

Join artists Paul Richmond and Melissa Forman for a unique learning opportunity for painters live on Zoom. This class will be held online for adults and teens 15 and older every month in 2023 on the last Sunday of the month. 

Painting Your Way is all about finding your artistic style, and learning that there is more than one way to approach any subject matter. Sometimes, you need to see what's possible before deciding what you want to try, and this class will give you the space and inspiration to explore. 

Each session, you will get to see two professional artists paint the same subject in their own unique way live on Zoom. Every month, we will focus on a different subject - including figures, landscapes, still life, and more - and demonstrate a variety of painting approaches.

Note: When you register, you will receive a pdf download that contains the Zoom link for this course. Art supply suggestions will be sent out upon registration. You are not required to use the same materials as us - feel free to use any medium you would like. You are also welcome to just observe the class if you'd prefer.

These classes will be recorded, and everyone who registers (whether you attend the live sessions or not) will receive the videos. If you sign up for the full year after some of the sessions have occurred, you will receive videos of the previous classes. 

Materials

Students may work in whatever medium they prefer, or try several! This is a very open-format class. Paint along with the instructors or work with your own reference material. Melissa and Paul will answer questions and make suggestions as you work, in a very supportive and fun group environment.
